3月11日(金)に発生した東日本大震災で被災された方、福島原子力発電所の事故により避難を余儀なくされている方には、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。一刻も早い復興・復旧を心から祈念申し上げます。
弊社は救援物資として、東日本大震災被災地の方々へ、「スイークレイ」を供給しております。今後も出来る限りの支援を行なってまいります。

スイークレイの安全性

1.スイークレイは外の空気に触れない

弊社の原水は、自然に湧き出している場所を箱状に囲い、外からは見えない様になっています。原水はその囲いの中から地中まで配管を通して工場内のボトリング工程作業場まで直接送られます。工場スタッフもボトリングされた時に初めて直接お水を見ることが出来ます。弊社のお水は外の空気に触れることなくボトリングされていると言う事です。

2.放射性物質に関して

放射性物質は、風向きや降雨などに影響され、あらゆる微粒子と同様に、飛来します。目には見えませんが、通常の外の空気では30cm四方の箱の中に100,000~1,000,000個くらいの数の微粒子があります。これをクラス1,000,000と言います。その中に今回の事故で舞い上がった放射性物質が混じっていると想定されています。外気に開放されているお水、例えば水道の浄水場や河川などに、気流などに乗って飛んできた微粒子が降り注ぎ、放射性物質が検出されたのではないかと考えられています。

3.スイークレイが安心な訳-1

弊社の原水ラインのように外気に触れない様にしてあれば、気流に乗って飛んできた放射性物質を含んだ微粒子も、お水には混入いたしません。

弊社製造室の空調環境は30cm四方の箱の中に微粒子が100個以下のクラス100を実現しています。これは病院の手術室よりも良い空調環境です。その中でスイークレイは充填されています。

Regarding the safety of our “Sewickley” brand water

1.Sewickley does not come in contact with outside air

Our spring rises naturally to our enclosed space which cannot be seen from the outside. Within this enclosed space, the spring water is delivered to our factory and bottling area. Our staff first sees the water directly when the water is bottled. This means that our water does not come in contact with outside air.

2.Regarding radioactive material

Countless particles of radioactive material are floating in the external air. Of course there are vast numbers of particles in normal air. Although they can’t be seen with the naked eye, there are about 100,000 to 1,000,000 particles per 30 cubic centimeters of air. This is called a “Class 1,000,000” environment. In the recent accident, released radioactive particles have become mixed into the air. Particles riding the air currents have fallen on to exposed water - such as water treatment plants and rivers - and thus such water has become contaminated with radioactive material and this has been detected in tap water tests.

3.Reason number one to feel secure about Sewickley

Our company’s method of piping spring water to the production line without coming into contact with outside air ensures that it does not mix with radioactive material.

4.Reason number two to feel secure about Sewickley

The air in our production facility contains fewer than 100 particles per 30 cubic centimeters. This is called a “Class 100” environment. This is a cleaner environment than a hospital surgery room. Sewickley is bottled in this environment.

5.Reason number three to feel secure about Sewickley

For good measure, we have performed an analytical test of Sewickley for radioactive material. The result was no detection of radioactive material.
